1. The game is played on a 10x10 chessboard, where each player begins with 20 pieces positioned on the dark tiles.
2. Move pieces diagonally forward in the quest to capture opponent's pieces by leaping over them.
3. If a piece reaches the opposite side of the board, it is "crowned" and becomes a King, gaining the newfound ability to move and capture both backward and forward.
4. Victory is achieved by capturing all of the opponent's pieces or by putting them into a position where they cannot move.
